Coming Memorial Day 2011 - Northbrook Healing Fields.

The event celebrates the 110th birthday of Northbrook and honors the men and women of Northbrook who have served their country. The goal is to sell 1901 flags and have them all flying in the Village Green in 2011.

Forty-three Northbrook men gave their lives in defense of their country. A flag representing each of them will be on display Memorial Day 2010 during the visit of the traveling Vietnam Wall. Each of these men is honored on the Memorial in Village Green Park.

The 32nd Annual Shermerfest is Sunday, September 19, 2010.
