Slide the viewer left and right to travel through time. The river from which Northbrook got its name. This is the view looking south at the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River as it passes through downtown. The shape of “The Creek”, as it is sometimes called, has changed over time. And recently, the shoreline was restored.
