Northbrook History Museum’s 50th Birthday

Join us for an afternoon of fun at the Northbrook History Museum as we celebrate 50 years since the museum’s grand opening and dedication in 1976!  Following the restoration of the Northfield Room (now the Lee Schinleber Northfield Room), the museum was first opened during the weekend of July 4th, 1976. That weekend featured a “Shermerville Country Fair” in the Village Green, and there, the museum featured a few displays on the first floor and a newly remodeled basement meeting room. The following day, a dedication ceremony was held on the east porch.  Please join us for popcorn, music, and a day to remember the move of the Inn to the Village Green in our latest video.  Come experience an all-new display inside! Bring a friend!
