Celebrating the 110th Birthday of Northbrook
with 1,901 full-size flags standing tall in the Village Green.
The Field of Honor was a program in 2011 where the Northbrook Historical Society held an event where people could purchase flags to place in the Village Green to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, a family member, a friend, a veteran, a member of the armed services, a favorite teacher, a new citizen, a policeman, a fireman, or someone they admire.
