For several years, Northbrook History Museum docents and historians have been telling stories and giving short tours in downtown Northbrook on select summer evenings throughout the season. Come downtown and listen to the histories located in plain sight in our historic downtown area! For a few hours, we’ll be standing on a corner pointing out such interesting tales as, “what used to be over there” and “I knew so and so, way back when”. But seriously, we’ll have scripts, we’ll have costumes in some cases, and we’ll usually bring a few antique vehicles! Best of all, it’s free and it’s your Northbrook history!
