CARavan + Car Show = 24th Annual

Part of the Historical Society’s 46th Annual Shermerfest

A CARavan through neighborhoods … or a Car Show in Village Green Park … OR DO BOTH!
THE CARAVAN will start at the North Suburban YMCA, 2705 Techny Road. Vehicles should arrive between 9:30 and 10:15 a.m. The CARavan will begin at 10:30 and end at downtown Village Green Park (no pets, no smoking) — where those who wish can be part of the Classic Car & Truck Show (noon-4 p.m.). Those not in the CARavan but wanting to be part of the regular show should arrive at the park (going west on Walters Avenue) no earlier than 11:15 a.m. A donation of at least $10 per vehicle will enable drivers to participate in one or both events. All must sign waivers.
SHERMERFEST IS THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY’S main fund-raiser. There will be awards for visitors’ favorite vehicles in the park. Shermerfest also will feature Cow Pie Moo-lette, music, Museum tours, the Rotary Ducky Race, refreshments, and more.
